Gay Sailing

3 - 10 August 2019

Another new destination which is very popular by our skippers: Under the Dalmatian coast of Croatia, the overwhelming environment passes into the beautiful country Montenegro. Just south of Dubrovnik in Croatia, Montenegro's UNESCO status attracts sailing enthusiasts around the world. Discover white sandy beaches, small, uninhabited islands, inlets accessible only by boat and charming harbors. We visit the hot spots of this country such as the mighty bay of Kotor where you imagine yourself in the middle of the mountains of Austria or Switzerland, beautiful ancient walled towns, where time seems to have stood still, but also a good gastronomy, beach holiday and you can find nice places to go out. For a detailed description, see the day planning. Also this country with its beautiful surroundings and whose liberal culture is similar to Croatia is ideal for Gay (Nude) Sailing Cruises.

We offer the GaySail Exclusive sailing trip with a luxury catamaran sailing yacht. We have two double cabins for couples, two cabins with split beds for couples or singles and two small single crew cabins with acces from the deck you can book with 30% discount. This GayNudeSail Exclusive trip you can join 1,2 or 3 weeks. The week after this cruise we are sailing from Dubrovnik to Trogir, the week before we sail from Trogir to Dubrovnik. All weeks have a distinct route with different ports, bays and islands.

The harbors are well equipped and the towns and villages on the islands and along the coast are beautiful. Sometimes we spend the night in a beautiful green and sheltered bay, where we are alone under the stars.

This cruise is including accommodation on board, the service of (nude) gay skipper and -gay cook, breakfast, lunch, soft drinks, harbor fees, taxes, gasoline and cleaning. Not included: Dinner and alcoholic drinks.

Day 1: Boarding in Dubrovnik, evening dinner and sightseeing tour of this beautiful ancient city known from the Game of Trones series. Dubrovnik, which is located under the mountain Srđ, is considered one of the most beautiful cities on the Adriatic coast and therefore also called the 'Pearl of the Adriatic'. The old, completely walled fortress city of Dubrovnik is on the World Heritage List of UNESCO.

Day 2: On the way to the ancient Cavtat, with a swimming / lunch stop on the way to the Gay friendly Island Lokrum. Cavtat was founded as the Greek city of Epidaurus and came in 228 BC. under Roman command, after which it became a state of the Roman Empire. After the invasion of the Slavs, the inhabitants founded in 614 Ad Ragusa, the current Dubrovnik.

Day 3: Today we sail to Montenegro where we first do Zelenika and then we sail to the ultramodern marina of Tivat. A beautiful marina has been built on this former naval yard with perfect facilities and a great base for visiting the city of Tivat.

Day 4: We will sail further south to the beautiful coastal town of Budvaand stay overnight at the idyllic peninsula Sveti Stefan. Budva is known for the Adriatic version of St. Tropez, it is an attractive walled city with ancient monasteries, a natural harbor and beautiful beaches. Sveti Stefan can clearly endure the comparison with Mont Saint-Michel. There are also beautiful beaches here.

Day 5: It is time to explore the beautiful bay of Kotor, you imagine yourself in the mountain lakes of Austria or Switzerland, maybe you will see snow on the mountain peaks. We will have the swim / lunch stop at Perast, where beautiful islands lie and will spend the night in Kotor. The bay is part of Unesco Heritage and is one of the largest tourist attractions in Montenegro. But tourism here is not as massive as in Croatia. In Kotor the medieval fort towers above the city and directly in the area you will find the steepest mountains of the region. A route in Montenegro is not complete without this historic stop.

Day 6: Today we sail out of the bay again north along the beautiful Montegrin coast with beautiful coves and beaches. We will leave Montenegro via Zelenika and Herzeq Novi to go to Cavtat where we have to report to customs.

Day 7: This day we use to further explore the gay friendly Island Lokrum. At Lokrum there is a botanical garden with tropical and subtropical vegetation. From the royal fortress you can see a beautiful view of Dubrovnik and even the bay of Cavtat. This island also has a small lake, as well as a gay beach and cruising area. Late in the afternoon we sail to Dubrovnik where we will have the last dinner of this trip.

Day 8: Free day for those who stay for another week. For the people who booked a week: time to say goodbye to your new friends and leave after breakfast.
